This course will equip teachers and schools with the knowledge, strategies, tools, and confidence to address some of the most pressing digital challenges facing young people today.
Through workshops, collaborative, and hands-on activities, participants will learn how to identify social media addiction, discern and counter misinformation, promote a safe approach to cyberbullying, and guide students in managing their personal image in relation to the unattainable standards they see online. By the end of the program, participating teachers will be equipped to prioritize ethics, empathy, and well-being, fostering critical thinking, emotional intelligence, and digital resilience among their students.
On completion of the course, participants will have a set of tools to address their students' problems related to social media addiction, misinformation, cyberbullying, and online image management. Participants will be better able to foster responsible digital citizenship among their students based on critical thinking and emotional resilience, while also creating safer and more informed digital environments in their schools.
