Welcome to our creative writing course for primary school teachers, featuring Ireland’s stunning cultural heritage and inspiring landscape. This practical course is designed to give you practical tools and techniques to spark young children’s imaginations and cultivate a love of creative expression in the classroom.
You will explore strategies to help you guide your students in creating their own imaginative texts through magical world-building, character and story creation, or expressing emotions through poetry.
Through a variety of interactive workshops, group discussions, and field experiences, you will explore different creative writing formats, including short stories, fables, poetry, and histories.
You will also have the opportunity to explore Ireland’s rich storytelling tradition through its mythology, legends and folklore which will provide exciting content for your lessons. As a participant you will produce a portfolio of texts, writing prompts and lesson plans to help your students express their ideas creatively.

Cancellation Policy

-- Cancellation 30 days prior to commencement date or later: No refund.
