Location: Dublin, Ireland
This course will help teachers enhance the quality of teaching through innovative and significant creative writing approaches.
Through hands-on, and interactive activities, you will discover diverse narratives and strategies that should help release your students' emotions, intuitions, beliefs, and values to support their better understanding of themselves and the world. You will also explore the significance of the body and the senses in the crative process. All this should broaden your ability to inspire and captivate your students with creative expression and help a better inclusion and respect for their diversity.
A variety of contexts, textual artifacts and genres, as well as film and visual arts, will constitute sources of inspiration for meaninful writing to support the development of key competences (i.e. communication, creativity, and critical thinking). Emphasis is also placed on creativity as a process: from idea generation and experimentation to drafting, sharing and reflection within an international learning environment where participants strengthen their professional skills and benefit from a collaborative European dimension
Participants should be teachers with a minimum level of English corresponding to B2+ of the Common European Framework of Reference (CEFR).
