From the English Matters’ classroom to you, wherever you are. Our online programme has been created to resemble the essence of a face-to-face course in which you will learn online while feeling connected to a broader learning network. 

Description:

This course is for teachers who feel the need to do new things, innovate their teaching and would like to expand their professional repertoire. In this course participants will have the opportunity to explore a selection of innovative methodologies for 21st Century teaching and Learning (e.g. Universal Design for Learning, Game-Based Learning, Digital Competence Framework, Critical Thinking, Creativity, Collaboration, Communication, Project-based Learning, Gamification, Authentic Assessment, etc.).

This course will analyse approaches, strategies, techniques, tools, and processes leading to successful teaching and learning experiences. Teachers will enjoy creating materials, collaborative tasks and learning experiences, within an active learning environment. The final aim of the course is to help teachers to discover new pathways for their students during a time of educational change.

The 60% of the course is devoted to online live workshops which allows for a high level of interaction during which participants will work with a variety of ICT tools for effective use of audio-visual resources, presentation of content, collaboration, classroom management and assessment. All this should encourage the creation of attractive and motivating digital materials for your students. 

Language of Communication: English. It is necessary to have a B2, C1, or C2 level of English to take full advantage of participation in this course.
