Description:

This course is designed for teachers, head teachers, principals and other school staff who would like to learn about the Norwegian Education System which has a higher level of general education than the European average and is based on the conception of a unified school that provides equal and adapted education for all students. The course has a general approach although the pedagogic encounters with schools are focused on Primary and Secondary levels. However, participants working with other educational levels may also benefit from the general approach of this course.

This Blended Learning Structured Course efficiently combines pedagogical encounters with schools, seminars, and field projects “Contexts4Content” to places of natural, historical, and cultural significance which will provide insights and ideas for further development of teaching resources for students. The course offers you great flexibility: during the virtual segment you will learn through interactive online live training sessions conducted by tutors and experts. During the mobility segment, you will spend an enriching training period in Norway, where you will enjoy opportunities to meet and interact with teachers, head teachers, and principals, getting a first-hand experience of the Norwagian Education System.
