Frequently Asked Questions

If you are interested in any of our courses you should register at www.englishmatters.org in order to reserve a place in the course and date of your choosing.

Our courses are very popular all over Europe and they fill very quickly therefore if you are interested in any of our courses please register as soon as possible.

When you register you automatically will receive an email with a provisional registration in the course of your choosing. Please note that you should not make any travel arrangements until
we send you final confirmation of the course you have registered.

When a programme has a sufficient number of applicants, we send out instructions on how to proceed with payment of the reservation fee to confirm their intention of participating in the course. This is an essential step in order to keep the places in the programme and to have definite numbers for a course. When applicants consolidate their places and we have definite consolidated numbers for the programme, we will send out final confirmation of the course and give you the go-ahead to make travel arrangements.

You can participate in our course with an Erasmus+ grant, Power grant, any other type of grant and also you can participate privately without being granted.

7-day training course: 620 Euro per participant
10-day training course: 830 Euro per participant

For courses with fees higher than €80 Euro per day, you might use part of the organisational support grant or other financial sources to compensate for the small additional cost:

--Course fee of our 7-day training course for teachers is 620 Euro per participant. You might cover the course fee by relating 560 Euro (80 Euro per day x 7 days)
to the Course Budget and the remaining 60 Euro by relating it to the Organisational Support Budget or other financial sources.

--Course fee of our 10-day training course for teachers is 830 Euro per participant. You might cover the course fee by relating 800 Euro (80 Euro per day x 10 days)
to the Course Budget and the remaining of 30 Euro by relating it to the Organisational Support Budget or other financial sources.

Course fee includes only the course.

Course fee must be paid by bank transfer in advance when requested.

When the course is confirmed we will send applicants and school co-ordinators the official model of Learning Agreement document with all the appropriate information about our courses and organization signed and stamped. You should sign and stamp the document and send it back to us by email.

Please note that you should not bring any documents to the training venues. All documents need to be supervised by our legal department and can not be signed or stamped during the implementation of the training. Any requirement about documents must be emailed to english@englishmatters.eu

After the completion of the course we will send you by email procedure about how to get your Europass according to each country procedure.

Please note that you should contact your Europass National Centre https://europass.cedefop.europa.eu/about/national-europass-centres in order to obtain the Europass Mobility Model with Europass Mobility numbers and Issuing dates.

We will send you Europass document model for your specific course where you will find information about English Matters and our course. You should include this information in the document obtained by your National Europass Centre and follow the specific procedure of your own country.

Accommodation and subsistence are not included in course fee. Participants must make their own travel arrangements. When a course is confirmed, English Matters will inform applicants about the best area to book accommodation in each location.
Flexible flight tickets and accommodation reservations should always be the practice.

--Cancellation up to 30 days prior to to commencement date: Cancellation Fee €250 per participant
--Cancellation 30 days prior to commencement date or later: No refund.
--There is no refund if a participant fails to complete the programme.

Note: English Matters cannot accept any responsibility or liability for any decision that a specific European authority, organization or company might take at a specific date, from or for a specific country. This is something that is out of our control.

It is highly recommended that participants arrange personal travel insurance for medical expenses, lost property, or any kind of accident occurring while travelling and during the course.
This is also a requirement of Erasmus+.
