The course is very interesting to know teachers of Europe and contact with them to have a future project together. Is the opportunity of our meeting and is very good moment to practice English with them. The city Dublin is a lovely place to prepare this course because Irish people are easy and simpatic to talk with them. It is good to feel like a European citizen.

First of all I must say that I really appreciated our lessons. I especially enjoyed the literature and creative writing sessions and right now I am looking forward to sharing the experience with my colleauges. Not only we gained a lot information about the topics including meeting some fantastic people, eg. Gerry O'Brien, but we also got a chance to create useful projects which will definitely be of great help in our classes.

By the way, having met all my colleagues and discussed courses, we would like to congratulate you on the very well organised and delivered course. It seems that you are one of the few organisations around Europe that can live up to serious professionals' expectations...

Week in Jaen was wonderful, thank you very much for a lot of inspiration and ideas to work and also for the approximation of Spanish culture and customs.

I would like to say a huge thank you to everyone at English Matters, especially Eduardo, for making me feel welcome in Jaén. You were always friendly, helpful, understanding and, above all, humorous! It was an experience that I will never forget! It was an absolutely brilliant week, but I’m going to need at least another three days to catch up on my sleep!

It was a great week! Got to know the key concepts of CLIL and learned about lots of new activities and ICT tools; very well prepared and chosen field projects to learn a lot about Spanish history and culture; intercultural conversation, awareness and kinds of exchange (thinking about doing a sport project with a Belgium school); very friendly, humorous and exciting atmosphere; my colleagues and the English Matters team were really kind and helpful all the time! Because of all of the above, I believe that I ́ll improve my professional and language skills.

From the very start, the high quality of this programme was evident – logical and balanced planning of the week, updated information every day, very good choice of presenters/lecturers. The choice of schools was well thought through and the schools all showed the warmest welcome possible, each in their own way. Visiting schools made this a very practical course – I got a very positive feeling from all the different schools and a strong desire to be an even better teacher to my students than I have been.

This program was beyond fantasy interesting, funny and challenging. I met a lot of people and built a lot of bridges of communication between their country and mine. I understood the European dimension of Education and felt very lucky to be a member of this unforgettable experience.

It´s been really a fantastic experience not only because I´ve learned a lot about the Irish educational system, or its language, history and culture but also because It has offered me the opportunity of meeting, working and exchange information with teachers of Ireland and other countries( mainly of Estonia, Greece and Germany) and maybe, who knows, in a future, we´ll do a project or we´ll make an exchange. A cooperative learning is a fantastic and quick way of learning. Together we will build a better European education. This course It has been a rewarding experience.

I am really thankful for the opportunity to see Ireland’s best schools. I learned a lot and I have now much clearer vision about what I want to improve in my classes and in school life in general. I feel more enthusiastic about my work. Thank you, all the English Matters team!

It´s been a very successful experience. Getting to speak English all day long, getting to know people from all around Europe and having the opportunity to do something as difficult and private as entering schools during worktime has been amazing. I go back with lots of plans and ideas to put into practice, and many colleagues to work with in the future.

An intensive and very rewarding insight into Irish history, society and education system with a unique chance of hands-on experience thanks to visits and job-shadowing possibilities in school institutions. The spirit of Erasmus (vivid cooperation, exchange etc.s very lively, contagious and motivating. The whole English Matters team is extraordinarily professional and their spiritual/ philosophical input based on conviction and enthusiasm for this kind of Erasmus programme was the engine and the drive for this rewarding experience. Thank you to English Matters, indeed!

What a precious gift I have had: meeting people from different countries, understanding how schools work abroad, visiting different schools and having the chance to speak to their staff and learners, observing them, foreseeing and dreaming about possible future partnerships in Ireland and /or with my European colleagues. I will take this feeling and hope back to my school, in order to open doors, to start new collaborations.

Great and useful experience! Thank you for everything! I have learned new applications to be used while teaching.

It was my first time on course like this. I am amazed and full of positive impressions. Everything was organized very well. I have learned so much in a short time and I have only good things to say about our hosts (English Matters team). I`ve made new friendships and contacts with people from all over the Europe and that is priceless. And of course my English is so much better now.

My hands-on experience of being part of EU teacher training program itself has contributed to my professional as well as personal development. Witnessing teachers of different nations coming together for a teacher training program for 7 days, learning that such program has been available for over 20 years, and all the teachers’ naturally respecting and appreciating differences were all an eye-opening experience. It was a dream come true to see such diverse groups of teacher cooperating to achieve the seven competences of EU. It is my sincere wish that a program as such as this would be realized in Asia.

I would like to thank the organization for the enriching week full of discoveries, joy and heartfelt conversations. I improved my social skills, language skills and shared lots of ideas with European teachers. It was an unforgettable experience!

My overall experience is very positive. I wanted to visit different Icelandic schools and learn something about new ways of teaching and I’m sure I learnt much more than that. I am also very happy that so many teachers from 16 European countries participated in this course as it gave me a better chance to establish international connections for future collaboration. The general atmosphere was always friendly and relaxed, the organization of the activities was very good and I really enjoyed the week with English Matters

The course was excellent and very well-organised. I had a chance to explore the Icelandic culture, the Icelandic educational system. I had also a chance to visit different school in Iceland and exchange my school experience with teachers from other European countries. This is one of the best country which I have visited during the Erasmus + projects programme and one of the best training course which I’ve taken part. I met a lot of wonderful people there. It was an unforgettable experience.

The project week in Iceland was an ideal way of promoting the European spirit. It created new friendships and inspired the connection of teachers all over Europe. It encouraged social and cultural awareness, unity, creativity and mutual respect

A very fruitful experience for both my professional development and Cultural awareness. The benefits were multilateral. It offered us opportunities to contemplate on our teaching methods, to speculate on new educational systems, exchange interesting teaching ideas. Apart from that, we elaborated our communication skills as we socialized with people from different countries with different language and habits. Cultural awareness and language competence along with professional development were the highlights of the experience. I would like to thank English Matters for the brilliant opportunity they offer to teachers from all around Europe to get to know each other and realize that we are all the same and we all have the same target, the well being of the European youth.

My experience in this course was very enriching and elucidative of the functioning of the Swedish educational system. (…) As for the course, it was very well organized, because, with the visits to the schools, the seminars and the programmed visits, we became fully aware of the organization of the Swedish educational system, its history, and the characterization of its society.
